What is Magic at Midtown?
Magic at Midtown is a tour of upscale urban residences at Midtown Crossing. These amazing, professionally designed spaces are open to the public. The tour, with additional events and activities, in the active Midtown Crossing community, is open to the public from November 18 to December 4, 2011.
Where is the Magic at Midtown tour?
The address for the Magic at Midtown Tour is 220 South 31st Avenue in Midtown Crossing. You will find the building, which hosts the Grey Plume restaurant on the first floor, on the north side of Farnam Street across from Marcus Theatres. Please come inside the building from the Farnam Court entrance for a tour of the entire second floor of condominiums.
Is Magic at Midtown like a Designer Showhouse?
Magic at Midtown is a design tour much like a Designer Showhouse. The Joslyn Castle Trust partnered with ASID in 2009 to present the Brandeis Mansion www.Omahadesignershowhouse2.com. The Brandeis Mansion was a historic home, while this tour at Midtown Crossing will cover an entire floor of condominiums. The area’s finest designers have been asked to participate in Magic at Midtown to present their most amazing design ideas, concepts and style.
Where do I park? How much does it cost to park?
Parking at Midtown Crossing is free for three hours. Midtown Crossing offers convenient and secure parking for more than 3,000 vehicles. The two parking garages are easily accessible from 33rd, Farnam and Harney Streets. In both garages, the first three hours are free, and visitors pay only $1 for each hour thereafter (with a maximum daily fee of $6).
Ample metered parking is available along Farnam Street and within Turner Park, accessible from 31st Avenue. Metered parking is short-term (maximum of two hours) and is monitored Monday-Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM.

How long does the Magic at Midtown tour last?
While everyone’s experience will vary, please allow 60 to 90 minutes for the Magic at Midtown experience. Longer, of course, if you want have lunch or dinner while at Midtown Crossing.
Are there any other benefits I receive when I purchase a ticket to Magic at Midtown?
Your ticket to Magic at Midtown comes with offers from the Midtown Crossing restaurants. You may use these offers as often as you like through the end of the year. Midtown Crossing and its neighborhood sport a wide variety of places to eat. Visit

Is there a boutique for Magic at Midtown?
The Afternoon, Omaha’s long-standing premiere gift shop, will have a boutique on the same floor as the Magic at Midtown tour.
How do I get tickets? How much do they cost?
Advance tickets for $15.00 per person are available online through November 17th. Tickets purchased online will be kept at the entrance to Magic at Midtown and given to you on the date you come to see the condos.
General admission tickets are available at the door. Admission is $20 per person.
Advance tickets for $15.00 per person are available at Wohlner's Grocery Stores.
Advance tickets for $17.00 per person are available at any Omaha and Council Bluffs HyVee locations August 1 through October 4.

What does Joslyn Castle have to do with Magic at Midtown?
Joslyn Castle Trust, (link to www.joslyncastle.com) a non-profit organization, manages this event, Magic at Midtown, as a fundraiser. Proceeds from the Magic at Midtown supports the restoration of the Joslyn Castle.
The Joslyn Castle Trust, Inc. perpetuates the goals of Sarah Joslyn by serving as an advocate of this magnificent property. Sarah’s instruction was to use the house to educate and enhance the cultural aspects of the Omaha community. The Trust seeks to generate awareness, foster appreciation, and attract financial support to preserve and restore the buildings and grounds.
The Trust works with the surrounding neighborhood associations including Destination Midtown, to ensure the preservation and attractiveness of the area. The Castle grounds are a popular location for events and bring a sense of community to those living in the vicinity.
The Trust has a professionally prepared master plan for restoration of the estate, and bases its quest for major funding upon the plan.
Annual memberships to the Joslyn Castle Trust are available for purchase. Your membership supports ongoing Castle activities. In return, members receive free access to Castle tours, invitations to special events, and updates of plans and events through the Castle Watch newsletter.
When can I see the Joslyn Castle?
Here are the dates that the Joslyn Castle will be open with your Magic at Midtown ticket. Tickets to Magic at Midtown include admission to the Joslyn Castle at 3902 Davenport Street on the following days – November 19, 21, 22, 23, 25, 27, 28, 29, December 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28, 29 from 11 AM to 5 PM or the 1st and 3rd Sundays November 2011 through January 2012- 1 PM to 4 PM.
Is the Magic at Midtown building wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Midtown Crossing, including all common areas, retail spaces, buildings, parking ramps, sidewalks, streets, crosswalks, and park areas, has been designed to be in compliance with local, state, and federal ADA accessibility requirements and building codes.

What days and what times can I actually see the condos?
Every day from November 18 - December 4, 2011, the condos will be open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We will; however, not be open on Thanksgiving Day.
Does Magic at Midtown have something scheduled on Thanksgiving Day?
